Default Just made a swirl mark discovery tonite!

Notice anything strange about this picture?

How did swirl marks get on that small area inside the emblem? The ONLY thing I could think of is that the manufacturer or dealer prepped the car by polishing it or waxing it while having the emblem off the car. I have never removed the emblem, i have never tried to polish inside that small area inside the emblem, and i have never taken my car to a car wash. Maybe i'm just crazy but I don't think i should blame myself anymore for the swirl marks on my car (which most have been removed thanks to my Porter Cable Orbital and 3M Swirl Mark Remover).

For those who didnt' see my before/after pictures of my swirl removing here ya go:

nice post... i have people asking all the time how to identify swirls. your photo of the emblem does this perfectly!

btw- not very likely that the dealer took off your emblem.
i assume that the emblem looks so beat up from finish applied by the pc which you havent removed yet?

looks like its time for a ricks badge to me!!
