As I have been reading back at a lot of posts through the years I just wanted to classify two things about wax.

1. It is spelled carnauba....CARNAUBA! (Not carnuba, carnubara, canuba, etc.)

2. It is pronounced "k

 

Oh and please don't flame me over this! I am just an OCD perfectionist and everyone else should be that way!!!!

 

so, does that mean that i have to start using caps too? !!

and i am very guilty as one who spells it "carnuba" cause i just cant seem to change my very old ways on his one-

I appreciate proper spelling and grammar as much as the next guy. However, I've come to realize that it doesn't always happen. Sometimes people don't care and sometimes it's just a type-o. Frankly, I rarely even notice it anymore.

 

You're a few years too late. I've been busting wanabe for years on this. I'm trying to find my old posts.

 

carnuba is MUCH faster to spell than carnauba when typing. Forum spelling often differs from proper spelling. This is how us old timers rack up 10000+ posts
