Default keeping the plastic from scratches?

I just purchase my first 00 s2k. i've seen many tips for keeping the plastic clean w/ the cleaner and the polishes but what can you put down to prevent those scuffs and scrapes? if anyone can help or send me to a link that might have something to help out.

jacool69-
welcome to the board!
i assume that you mean the plastic rear window...
i have a "muz mat" inside the car to protect the inside of the window, and always put a soft rolled up towel on the outside just before putting the top down (dont forget to remove it when putting the top up!!)
then i use plexus for cleaning and preserving.

Checkout the Library, there is a lot of useful information there. This is an example.

I think the 1st Generation of s2ki was more intuitive. At least it was easier for me to find my way around.

Quite a few of us have installed the static cling window tint on the outside to prevent scratches there.
