Default Kerbed alloy wheel

I kerbed my front 05 Diamond cut alloy a few months ago in the floods of the South west in the Uk (I hit the submerged kerb whilst doing a 3 point turn to avoid a rising river) and tonight I did it again! Lapse of concentration negotiating a sleeping policeman and graunched the same wheel against the kerb. So annoyed with myself. I have since tried to polish the former scuff out with a bit of wet and dry and Scratch X but it's actually dulled the original diamond cut finish so looks rubbish. I'm wondering if anybody has had any success fixing these scuffs themselves? I have a Megs G220 random orbital and lots of polishes etc.

Many thanks.

Post some pictures of the damage to better judge your best option. If the damage is significant you best option may be a mobile wheel repair service there in the UK.
