Langka anyone??
I bought some langka about a year ago. I works OK, but isn't the holy grail for touching up rock chips.
I used it on my neighbours car, with his permission, as a test. If you let the touch up paint dry for an hour or two before using the langka, it seems to work better.
Do a search at http://autopia.ws/forums/index.php for more detailed info on langka.

Don't bother if you have Silverstone. I bought it awhile ago to fix a very small bumper chip. The color comes out darker than the car. While it didn't completely fix a small chip on another car we have, it did much better on a darker color.
Make your own Langka. Get some mild rubbing compound and add a bit of lacquer thinner.
Basically you blob on some TU paint. Wait about 15-30 minutes in the sun. Then tightly wrap a flat item like a small plastic scraper with a layer of t-shirt material. Add some of the above goop and go for it. Very forgiving, the flat applicator and lacquer touch up paint allow you to take down the blob to the surface of the existing paint. Sometimes you need to reblob cuz the touchup paint shrinks as it dries. You can't do it if the touch up paint is old. You can then hand polish the area with regular stuff to get max shine. With a decent paint match, the chip is bnasically gone. You need to add primer if the chip went to the metal and clear coat is your car is cleared.
