Default Lexol leather conditioner

Just curious, how long does a 1/2L (16.9oz) bottle of Lexol leather conditioner tend to last? Do the conditioners expire? (i.e. the chemicals mess up if you store the jug for too long ... i.e over 2 years?).

Lets assume that I'll condition the seats every 2 to 4 weeks. I'm not expecting a super detailed job when doing this every 2 to 4 weeks; I'm just thinking that doing it more frequently is better than doing one big job with a thick layer less frequently. Is that good enough if I do top down a lot in summer?

Due to economies of scale, the 3L jug looks worth it compared to the 1/2L bottle, and I'm going to get it if it doesn't expire ...

3L: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FOIJ0...ance&n=15684181
1/2L: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00063ZIS...glance&n=228013

(And yes ... those two aren't from the same store ...)

Thanks.

Wow.. 3L would last you a lifetime.

We don't really have THAT much leather to cover in the car. The seating sides of the seats and the center console cover... I've got a 1/2L refill bottle for sale if you want it. $5 + shipping (usually about $4/USPS Priority).

That is a lot unless you own some cows or do leather as a hobby.

That's a good deal! I guess I'll pass on this one, since I'm ordering a bunch of other stuff from Autogeek with my friend (so the effective cost is the same for the 1/2L bottle).

Thanks for the offer anyway. I think that's a damn good deal for a local pickup!
