Post A little Polish Work :D

A friend came to me on Tuesday with some paint problems he wanted fixed. Mostly machine ghosting due to some really disappointing work from a local detailing shop. I worked the paint with some 3M 06064, 3M 06068 Ultrafina SE, and I topped it all off with a layer of Wolf Gang Paint Sealant. The exhaust tips were pretty badly blacked up so i fixed them up with some fine steel wool and some polish as well.

Yup sure did, I asked him and he told me that they gave it to him like that and he didn't know it could be better. Sad thing is the shop came highly recommended.

If you find my original detail thread for my BB, it was in nearly the same condition! And to top it off it was from one of "the best" shops in the area! Thats when I decided to invest in some good product and do my community a favor and start my own deal

Regaqrding detail shops leaving a car badly hologramed and swirled like that...

I suspect that a lot of people just don't know any better. They have a car gone over by a detail shop, and sure, it comes back clean and shiny. But since so many cars on the road have bad swirling all over them, and sometimes holograms like your buddy's car had - they don't know any better.

One way or the other, nice recovery on that car.
