as Jaeden mentioned, the Edge 2000 system will vibrate much more with the UDM because of the counter weight problem with the UDM. David B at autopia was planning on releasing a new counterweight to compensate for the increased size of the Edge 2000 system but there doesn't seem to be any development going on currently. I read about lots of people still the edge pads with a UDM, but you should expect more vibration than what you experienced with the lake county pads.

What if I use smaller Edge pads? The One's im using with my UDM now are 6.5's? 6's? they make 5 inch Edge pads, correct? and the counterweight on the UDM is for 5 inch pad, IIRC... It's been like, a year, maybe I'm wrong.

I have never had a problem with my Lake Country pads. I have both CCS and non-CCS pads.

I use this to clean my pads. Only cleaner I have ever used on them. Works really good. I mix it with warm water in a 5 gallon pale, let them soak for a bit, then rinse them clean.

I dry them putting the pads on a sweater rack on top of a clothes rack. Remember to place them with the "velcro backing" facing up.

I have used the same technique since I got them, and never had a problem.

Hope this helps, because proper pad care is key to their longevity!!
