Default Mazdaspeed?

I didn't know they sold these like this straight from the dealer, but the owner said that's how he bought it (all the trim, exhaust, suspension stuff and a turbo, apparently)... Worked out nicely. A few pics...

It drove nicely enough, but didn't really feel all that powerful. Wouldn't be a bad 2nd car

Oh, and this was my first experience using AIO and SG and I must say, I was pretty happy with the results - AIO via PC @ 4-5 and SG via hand & MF applicator. Autosol (my hero) on the muffler... wish i'd have gotten some pix of that

Another vote for PakShak MF towels. ROCK. AND if you become a member over at the Autopia forums, Raney seems to have an Autopia discount he gives out. Saved me a big chunk of change on what WAS a $112 order.

If an S2000 owner were to love a front driver, it surely would be that. The Mazdaspeed Protege is an excellent handling car.

yup, looks like a stock msp to me. decent turbo, lsd, 17" racing harts, front lip and wing vary by year, only difference in exhaust is higher flowing muffler, stiffer swaybars (20mm rear, ?? front), firmer struts (tokiko blues), stiffer/lower springs, kenwood radio, sub.

MP3 was ranked #1 in FWD handling when it came out, this is same setup w/ better components, more power, handles even better.

no longer in production but you can find em used for a decent price.

Right on. He's thinking of turning it in soon (on lease)... Wonder how the fiance would feel about it She's been hankering for a WRX wagon, tho. I know, since I cleaned them, that it's got the Tokico blues and some sort of springs (painted red). I didn't notice a sub, but I know it had a CD changer in the trunk and a decent head unit with XM. And I really liked the interior. One of the few I've seen on any cars that was nicely - and not overly - done.

stock stereo is a kenwood, that I think you could get sirius on.
sub is mounted upside down in top of trunk, under window. kinda stealthy
red springs & swaybars = stock Racing Beat components
