Default Meguiars Plastic and Headlight Sealant Worth A Try ?

I was in the U.S. this weekend and I picked up som Megs Plastic and Headlight Sealant. It is supposed to seal headlights after they are restored, providing U.V. protection. I thought I'd use it on my headlights and tailights and my rear polycarbonate window on my hardtop. Any opinions on this product ?, how often to re-apply ?. I haven't seen the product up in my country yet so I thought I'd ask in case anyone's used it. thanks for reading.

Thanks for the reply. I tried it on the rear window and it turned out to be real streaky ( it's a Mugen Hardtop, not OEM). It is probably fine for light fixtures though, it leaves behind a super slick surface.
