Default Menzerna intensive polish

I just got a used toyota pickup and it needs tlc!! I did the inside the other night in the garage it came out nice. I decided to do the outside yesterday at work in the heat. The Menzerna I have is 2 yrs old, My first pass 2x2 on the hood, the Menzerna dried up very quickly(2nd pass over) and crumbled, it was extremely hard to get off. I Actually had to use clay to get it off. So my question, is the Menzerna bad? In the past I have not moistened the pad, could that be the problem? Has any one ever had this happen as well. Thanks

Jay

what temps are you working in? what humidity?
those things play big role on how polish behaves. used it couple days ago and its fine but we are in heated garage (horsham, pa) with temps around 70. polish does have shelf life but not sure what it is for menzerna. does it say anything on bottle?
this problem you having usualy result from high humidity and relatively low temps but i think humidity is bigger problem. you can use rubbing alcohol mix to take polish off, no need for clay. let me know if you got other questions or problems

possibly, but id blame it on conditions first. i had problem today menz power finish drying out on paint and had to remove it with IPA. i would give it a try first and see. if you gona through it out, give it to me and i can try it for you and tell you if its bad or not

btw there should be date of birth on bottom of bottle

Throwing it out, it shows 24 months on the bottle, no date on the bottom. I bought some pinnacle compound (bogo free) last night with some other stuff from Autogeek. I like Pinnacle Caranuba waxes and I am out of Wolfgang 3.0 Synthetic so I thought I'd try there compounds. I'll keep it for you if you want it.

did you use a pc or a Polisher ? with these products ? What bad did you use. You car looks great. I'm thinking about using the Meg #205 also before applying Zaino AIO, Z2, Z5 on my 02 Suzuka Blue. I'm thinking that just using the 205 will work for me because I only have a few very light swirls/scratches on my car.
Cheers
