Default Microfiber Wash

...and was wondering if I could use a car wash liquid instead of laundry detergent?
I would like the MF towels to stay soft as they were when new and I'm sure this won't happen with Tide in the wash.
I know of the special products for this task, but I don't have any at the moment and don't want to wait for an on-line order.
TIA

Regular laundry detergent will work better. Try to use something like Tide Free that doesn't have dies, softeners, or perfumes in it. Then some white vinegar (1/4 cup) in the rinse cycle will make your towels fluffy.

also, dry them on delicate/low heat and DO NOT use any fabric softener/sheets. this will clogs the fibers, and cause streaks.

or you could just hang them on a line/rack to dry.

Definitely DO NOT use fabric softener in the washer or dryer. However, you can definitely use high heat on the dryer if you want.

I use a microfiber detergent. I definitely prefer the results over everything I've used before. I would recommend the Micro-Restore.
