Default Milk!?!?!?!?

Oh man, this is embarrassing. The other night my friend and I went to buy some food. When we got home we noticed that the milk busted open and got on my carpet. Not too much though, but it still stinks! I have shampooed it and everything but it wont go away. Any advice??? Oh yeah, btw, I am never buying food when I am in my S again.

Man, I JUST read about something that would help with that. Let me look...

Have you tried a citrus-based cleaner? P21s Total Auto Wash might do the trick, actually. I'll dig around...

Oh man, thanks for the help guys. Today I spent about 2 hours shampooing my carpets. Most of the smell is gone but we will just have to wait for another hot day in the sun.

Actually there is a formula that will kill a skunk's odor.

1 qt. of 3% hydrogen peroxide
.25 cup of baking soda
1 teaspoon of liquid soap

Don't know what the peroxide would do to your carpet though.

The smell is gone, for now at least. I was talking to a friend who had this happen and he said that it comes and goes!!!! I hope that doesn't happen in my car! I worked my A$$ off shampooing my entire car. I have to say it looks rather good, maybe the milk was a good thing after all. Well at least my carpet looks brand new again. Thanks for the help guys
