my before and after
So after a long winter, I finally justified ordering supplies and getting to work. My car has been sitting under the oem cover since August last year so when I finally got the high powered lights on the car I realized I had some work ahead of me.

Products used to rid my car of this:
Porter Cable
Lake Country Black
Lake Country White
Lake Country Blue
Meguires 205
Optimum Poli-Seal
Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze
Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant
Dodo Juice Purple Haze Carnauba
Chemical Guys Back to Black(for fender liner)
303 Aerospace
Tons of microfiber
I spent about 20 hours on this over the course of a week as there is a 24 hour sealant bond time between the Blackfire and Carnauba and I did two coats of each so just applying those needed 4 days.
After(sorry i dont have full shot, i just wanted close ups of the paint correction)

Looks sharp. I'm planning on doing mine within the next week or so using M205 white/black LC pads and BFWD. I also have M105 and orange pads if my test spot show that some swirl remains, but I'm hopeful that the paint is soft enough that I can correct my swirl with just those two polishing steps.
What order did you do this in? Using both Poli-Seal and a glaze seem a little at odds because the Poli-seal will polish away the glaze if you use it afterwards and it's sealant properties seems like it would prevent the glaze from helping much if you did it before.
Did you finish up with the carnauba wax over BFWD? Did that improve the appearance much?

I had best luck with black pad and m205 to polish. I first used a white pad and checked my work and it wasnt as perfect as i hoped. I think it is because the white pad is still toooo aggressive because of how soft the paint is. I did a rubbing alcohol wipe down(50/50) mixture before i got started to see what i was working with and decided to Poli-Seal the panels that were not as pad as the pictures i posted. AFTER that i applied the Chemical Guys EZ creme glaze. I do admit I was not toooo impressed with it for its "filling" properties but it did create a very slick finish. I will probably always use it.
Added Blackfire sealant on a blue pad, waited 24hrs and did it again.
24 hours later i topped with carnauba and do feel that on black it created a better finish than blackfire alone. most people probably cant tell but if its your car i am sure you can.

there arent really any shots to compare the correction... you have close up direct high power light showing the imperfections, then non direct light garage shots for the afters. not doubting it looks better, and its obviously quite shiny, but put that light back on it and lets see what really came out! id be impressed if the 205 and a black pad was aggressive enough to take it all out though.
I can't wait to do the same with mine. I recently ordered more pads for the PC as my old ones had seen their better day. I did do a test spot on the back of the trunk and I was very happy with the results. I can't wait to make the rest of the car look that good.

Very nice. Looks like you got a 80+% correction. Maybe some hazing and some swirls left, but no one is going to be throwing a light on your car, and on the berlina black paint, that is quite a accomplishment. Good job.
Pretty much what I see as well. A tad more aggressive cut followed up with what you did probably would have perfected it. Always better to go not quite far enough than too far though
