Need some detailing
we are more of a do it yourself board...
by far the best choice is diy- thats the only way you know exactly what was done to your car and no shortcuts. btw, its actually fun too!! and a small fraction of the cost, in case that matters.
if you want, we love to help folks with the first time- let us know.
you can also post up in your local forum to see if someone has ideas if you decide to hire someone.

I see, but man, last time I did it myself I thought my arms were gonna fall off. I just read the threads on products. I ggguuuueeeesssss I'll do it myself again. But thanks for the idea of posting on the local forum, which I still might do.

we have the cure for everything and also can help with the know how.
starting point is the "how tos" at the top of the board- and we love to answer questions... especially "how do i keep my arms from falling off !!"
you know, to go and get your car detailed professionally will cost you a couple hundred dollars depending on the place. My brother got quoted anywhere from 200-800 for a complete detail, well i went ahead and did ti for him and made 100 bux instead, but to the point. detailers domain is selling a porter cable 7424 kit that comes with the polisher, the appropriate pads and menzerna products for 300. With all that you spend it once and you have all the equipment you need. It is really easy to use and then you wouldnt be paying an arm and a leg each time you go to have your car detailed. with that stuff that comes with the kit you have the outside covered. Depending on how bad your interior is you wont have to spend much on products unless your interior is horrible. I would buy the porter cable and get somone in your area show you how to use it properly then start doing the stuff yourself. That machine is worth every penny and it also solves your whole tired arms problem.
