Default Never pressure wash...

My nightmare came true today... Car wash guy was pressure washing my soft top and look what happened... Luckily he is responsible and took the blame and is going to fix it.

Anyone else experience this from a pressure washer?

Top is oem, 13 years old and the first damage on it.

Says in the owners manual not to do it. I guess that's why. Ouch, feel for you.

I use my pressure washer to rinse the top but never in close range and/or with a narrow angle adapter.

Good to know. The car wash guy is probably not experienced with soft tops.

If the top is 13 years old, it was probably any minute before it ripped/tore/cracked. Lucky for you that this happened under someone else's liability.

Yes got it patched up and I'm just happy it is sealed. Color isn't exactly the same but at least it won't spread.
