It's expensive but there are certainly other waxes which are equally expensive . . .

- Pinnacle Souveran (with towel & applicator) $79
- Zymol Concours $160
- Zymol Vintage ~$2,000
- Zymol Royal ~$7,500

There's also another high dollar brand called Victoria Wax, but they're out of Canada and also there's Swissol but they're hard to find in the US and may have changed their name due to a recent law suite by Zymol.

Yeah - I know about the crazy high end stuff. I was kind of hoping that this wasn't going to another one of them. As a pretty regular customer of properautocare.com I was just a mouse click away from ordering a can of this up until I saw the $$$.

I'm trying hard to figure out how you get polymers to work in an oily, solvent based carnauba product.

i know... if they can do it in one product, it seems that argues well for sandwiching/ layering!!

there are some other products out there with carnuba/ synthetic blends- wheelwax for one...

This new wax is also sold in a smaller size than Souveran and both sell for the same price.

I was really perplexed by the pricing strategy of this product. It's advertised that it's best use is as a topper over a sealant. So, someone who has just spent $10-$40 on a sealant is then expected to spend $80 on a topper? I think when you're expecting your client to buy just one LSP this pricing strategy works, but when you're dealing with a 2 LSP client I think this is a larger investment that most won't pay for.

You could add Swissol waxes to that list as well. They top out around 2000.00...
