Default -NXT- Wax

Talk about a brillant shine, goes on easy and comes off even easier...at first I tried the new Liquid ICE but was not satisfied with the results and went back to my NXT, this is after only one coat...

let us know how it holds up for you. that has been the only complaint in the past (that it does not have staying power).

I use to use it on my G35 and loved it, but I also had a lighter color car also...I plan on laying down at least two more coats by next week, so we'll see how it goes...

I used NXT on my NFR and was very dissatisfied. Used the Gold Class and absolutely loved the results. I dont know why it didnt work out for me. Everyone I have talked to loved the NXT. Wno knows?

I wouldn't bother putting more than one more coat of NXT on for at least a month. NXT has a lot of cleaners in it (even though it's not advertised as a cleaner wax). So, when you apply another coat you are removing some of the previously applied coat. Putting on two coats will assure even coverage, but any more than that and you're basically wasting your time. This is probably why you didn't like the TW Ice. I don't think Ice has much if any cleaner in it.

Also, as Wanabe pointed out the complaint most people have about NXT is that it doesn't last very long. Let us know how long you think it lasts.

NXT is a synthetic wax. Most people find synthetic waxes look best on lighter colored cars. Gold Class is a carnauba wax (with some cleaners in it). Most people prefer the look of a carnauba wax on dark colored cars especially red & black cars.
