I have the opportunity to get the latest version of the Honda OEM dust cover from a friend to use on my '02. Does anyone know if the currently available OEM dust cover will fit well on the first generation S2000?

i have one for an 05 and i dont see why not if wont fit a AP1.

Have heard that the AP2's have a 1/2 an inch lower front bumper than teh AP1's so if anything it would fit better. But I dont think there are different year car covers .. i think they're all the same.

 

Thanks for the reply. I believe there are different part numbers for the dust covers. I found this by looking at quite a large number of vendors offering the OEM dust covers for the S2000.

I found these part numbers:

08P34-S2A-100 for 2000-2003 and 08P34-S2A-101 for 2004-2005

Probably no significant difference, but it would be nice to know that I'm not going to be scratching the paint with the cover I'm buying to protect the paint, and I can get a very low price on the 04/05 version.

 

you wont scratch your paint with a cover unless its dirty... be sure to wash it before you use it-

the body of the car has not changed (except as noted above the bumpers)- so the cover should work. can you "try it on"?
