Hey guys. I picked up a nice MY02 last month, it is in good shape, previous owner said it was always garaged, never in snow or rain. Car is clean and the water beads when washing but I was at a meet a few weeks ago, parked right next to a real clean NFR and it became apparent that my car needs some detailing - lots of light swirls. I've always been a clean car freak but my current stash needs upgrading and I am ready to take it to the next level. I've read the s2k detailing bible cover to cover and frequently stop by here to take in some knowledge, so I know what to do. Now I need to buy the goods to do it. Ideally, I'd like to go to one website and buy everything, the PC, the pads, the polish, the sealant, the top dressing, tire dressing, even the buckets, grit guards and brushes. So my question is does this exist? I understand that different sites carry different brands so it will depend on what brand I decide to go with. In my perfect world, there is a site/vendor out there that has a mother of all detail package, boxed and ready to ship. Alternatively, if I have to buy all the items one at a time, that's OK too, but I would prefer to visit as few sites as possible. I think of it as 'efficient' but know that the other side of that coin is 'lazy'. Any help/insight you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. Below is a 'before' pic, I'll post the 'after' picks when I come back for my badge. Thanks in advance.
Click this link. They will have everything you need. They do have package deals, for the buffer/pads/and I believe even the wax and stuff. I have ordered from them in the past, and was very satisfied with the service I received.
For the top, I reccomend the 303 cleaner, and the protectant also.
You can even order a bucket/mitt/grit-guard combo!!
Good luck, let us know what you get, and post up some before and after pics
Thanks, all. Autogeek is a great site, lots of choices. I'm leaning toward the PC package with the Wolfgang products as I've read consistently good things about this product line. As I said, my car is clean but when next to a really well-detailed AP2 NFR (photo below), it needs that 'little extra'. I'll be placing my bulk order in the next few days and will keep you all posted.
