Default online or brick & mortar

I thought this may be a fun poll. The reason I wanted to start it is because I always read threads where people say "What is the best wax I can buy? I don't want to order on-line." So, please vote for where you get the majority of your detailing products. Then, please give me your reasoning for why you get them there. Thanks!

Hey Mike!! Cool thread!!

I buy most of my supplies on-line for the following reasons . . .

1. Many of my favorite brands are only available on-line
2. The product selection available on-line is much wider than what you can get locally
3. A lot of the products available on-line tend to be more effective than those available OTC
4. There's not too many places locally I can buy detailing supplies from only big box stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.), auto parts chains, and my local PBE

The only thing that bothers me about ordering on-line is waiting for my shipment to arrive (I'm WAY too cheap to pay for anything more than ground shipping ).

My vote was in the local store catagory. Would have liked a choice for both. I only purchase on line what can not be bought locally. I try to avoid ship charges while supporting local merchants.

I know a lot of people buy products both locally and on-line. I buy some products in both places myself. However, the question was where do you buy the majority of your products and why.

I voted local store. The only things I buy online are my PC pads, and high end waxes, thats it.

My cleaners, regular waxes (Meguiars Gold or Liquid Glass), wheel cleaner (Hot wheels is my fave), etc, I buy in stores.

Even though I do browse every car detail section I ever come across, I end up buying 90% of my stuff online. The only exceptions so far has been car wash soap (gold class even though I've been using ONR and DP4in1 more often), microfiber applicators (meguiars), wheel brushes (meguiars), and stoners invisible glass.
