orange bug STAINED GP White bumper!
i did a search, but wasn't able to find much other than "get a bra" or "deal with it".....but i was hoping someone out there might know of a miracle product to get rid of a bug stain. the bug is gone, i know how to wash off bugs....but it apparently sat there long enough for its orange guts to seep into the paint to create a permanent stain. i tried some meguiars paint cleaner....didn't phase it. then i tried some 3M fine cut....still nothing. i then let some bug/tar remover sit on it for a few minutes, but that didn't help either. if it were any color other than white, it wouldn't be noticeable. i have had my white accord for 6 years, and have never had a bug to stain it like this one did to my S. looking at it, it really looks like the color has soaked into the paint and i am stuck with it, but does anybody have any other suggestions?

try the above good suggestions, and if they dont work- try something with orange or citrus base, like "goo-be-gone". after using any of these, you will need to refinish (wax or synthetic) the area.
i use meguiars gold class wax, but it wasn't as fresh as it should have been (2 months or so) considering its getting buggy here now. i will try some clay and some of that citrus stuff too. i am also going to check with a local auto body/paint shop to see what products they might recommend.
its just a small orange dot, but it stands out way too much for me
thanks for the replies!
