Default Paint corrected the CR

So a little over a week ago, I purchased Nicole's CR and became the proud owner of #398.

The first "mod" I wanted to do was clean her up so I called up my friend, Eric (EclipsisNA), to see if he could give it a nice detail. I found out that he had a few herniated discs, but he told me he would come out of retirement to make sure this was done properly.

First he worked on the wheels to remove the plastidip. According to him, it was baked in because of the heat generated by the brakes, and he had a semi-difficult time removing it.

The next thing he did was remove all the badging, the rear spoiler, and the side markers so he could properly polish her.

He then proceeded to clay the entire car to get rid of the contaminants...this was just the trunk:

Here are a few before and after 50/50 shots of his paint correction/polishing:

What I have now is a blue mirror:

Bilsteins are on order so I could mount these next:

Thanks...He just needs to finish up the hardtop and put the newly bought badges on. He's had it in his possession longer than I have.

Thanks!!! It's so hard trying to be patient. I had the car for two days total after the purchase. My friend's had for 11 days and counting... I told him to take his time because I never like rushing anything like this... so it's my fault.

Very nicely done, when you finally get the car back you will have a detailed car to enjoy. Enjoy.
