Default Peeling Clearcoat on NFR(Help)

I have a serious case of peeling clearcoat on my car. It is a 00 New Formula Red. The front bumper is really peeling away the clear coat. The rest of the car is not bad, no signs of peeling. Does the entire bumber need to be sprayed and clear coated? Any ideas on how fix this?

Did you buy your car used?

sound like it has been repaired before incorrectly. Thats why your bumper is peeling

yes I agree that it was probably repaired incorrectly. My NFR 00 had the front bumper repainted because the original owner was driving it on the interstate and a piece of tire retread flew up and hit the bumper and cracked one of the headlights. He took it to a porsche body shop, and he claims he paid for the absolute best repair--so far its good. But the problem with repaints (especially on plastic) is that it will almost never be better than the factory paint job. The problem with plastic is that it is tough to get the paint to bond properly with the plastic. So I'm sure I'll have the same problem, but hopefully it won't be for several years. It probably needs to be repainted. Good luck!

You guys are correct. I did buy the car used and the dealer admitted to spraying the front under spoiler, but didnt mention the front bumber. I guess I should look into having the bumber sprayed again but if the same thing is gonna happen maybe I shouldn't bother..
