Default Polarized rear window

I don't know why, but I have a film on the plastic rear window that gives it a polarized look. From dead on, it looks horrible, but from an angle it looks clear as glass. I use 303 on the roof and Plexus on the window. Along with Z7 wash, I think the combination is leaving a build-up that isn't exactly transparent. Would a wash with something like Dawn dishwashing liquid remove the film, then I could treat it with just Plexus. Or is the stuff too harsh for the plastic?

Do not, I repeat, do NOT use Dawn or any type of dishwashing liquid on the rear window as it will haze up even more. Get the Meguire's Plastic Window cleaner, it will remove all traces of haze and some scratches with no problems. Make sure you use a foam applicator pad to apply it as it yields the best results.

I have the meguire's polish as well but I have stopped applying it. I noticed that my rear window is less susceptible to haze if the polish is not applied.

This is proven by the fact that I had to clean my plastic window of haze at least once a week with the cleaner if I applied the polish. When I stopped using the polish, the window would go for weeks without having to be cleaned again. Something in the polish causes the offgassing of the interior pieces to build up more quickly.

Hmm, I only use Meguiars #17 to remove minor scratches (e.g. on the lowest fold line) followed by Plexus on the outside of the window but only use a plain water spray and 100% cotton cloths inside the car. The window is staying amazingly clear as you can see here

I've figured out what's happening. I use 303 on the top. After a rain, a residue of the 303 coats the windows. I now have the "polarized" look on the side windows as well. I really like the way 303 works on the top, but now after six months of using it I am getting the stuff on the windows. Anyone else having this problem?
