Default Polished exhaust tips

Hey. guyz. idk if this is the right place to put it because of "under the hood" but its the only DIY place. Some of you may want to do this. I did this the same way i refinished/polished my blitz rims.

Tools: high speed power drill.
cotton buffing wheel.
polishing compound.

All you have to do is just get some of that polishing compound on the wheel. and just simply go over ur stock exhaust tips.

You also can make ur aftermarket exhuast canister look BRAND NEW!. because we all know that the elements of the earth ruin polished things. (water.sun. and dirt)

These pics do not justice. but hope some of u try it. sorry for the nude pix. but thats how we role in hawaii. lol NSFW

this one not polished (notice the crappy mirror image)

this one polished (notice the mirror like image)

this one is left polished and right not

this one left polished right not

The small scratches and swirl marks are a lot less on the polished one.
Some people are real anal about those you know.

OP, nice work. I believe the differences are more noticeable in person.

There is another way to truly make those tips perfect.

Make a jig to spin the tips in a drill press.

put some Mothers alum polish on a rag, and hold it around the tip as it spins in the drill. Use some pressure.

The polish will come out perfectly uniform because the tip is spinning.

It may sound like a little overkill, but someone try it. You won't believe your eyes
