Hey guys . Im not sure this is the right forum but i got a question.

I took the header , exhaust and cat out because of the turbo installation and now they are sitting in my garage. What can i do to protect them from rust and corrosion ? All i did was to put some newspaper to the holes.

clean em up real good and then put the same wax on them that you put on the car... wash with car shampoo then use some metal polish before the wax-
will help protect them while you arent using them and when you do the reinstall the wax will evaporate off...
you can use either wax or synthetic depending on how long they will be off the car (synthetics will protect longer)
