Mezerma Powerlock,topped with a few coats of P21S 100%.

^ This sounds like a great approach, something I might try in 2017. I basically have stopped at Menzerna Powerlock in the past , but I want to top it off with something to give it a bit more pop, and P21S might just do that eh Emil ?.

Claying will cause marring no matter how careful you are. I wouldn't worry about drying the car after washing and before claying. I would add an additional lubricant though, typically a waterless wash diluted as a detail spray. I wouldn't clay my own car if I didn't plan on polishing it afterward though. Claying should only be done when the car needs it. It shouldn't be part of a regular maintenance routine. Id recommend looking into modesta ceramic coatings and other sealants. A lot of liquid sealants(ex.Carpro reload) will have better water beading, sheeting, self cleaning abilities than power lock imo.

Do you have a preferred coating you recommend? I've heard good things about Ceramic Pro.
