my final wax is a carnuba, S100. I use a synthetic before that, which is meguiars gold class liquid. Hope this helps.

almost hate to admit it, but my fav carnauba detailers spray is this one:

and i almost always use carnauba sprays when carnauba is the last product on the car... you can try synthetics, but i would not buy bulk for this experiment-

if I were using synthetic as the last step, what would be your choice?

I buy Poorboy's Spray and Wipe in 5-gallon containers and Spray & Gloss in one gallon containers. If you e-mail Steve at Poorboys he can give you a price for either shipped to your location. Almost all of his stuff can be had for a great deal in 5-gallon units.

I buy all detail spray in 1 gallon jugs. I have both Kinsh Kare FK425 and FK146 as well as a few gallons of Meg's Final Detail (no longer sold)

I use optimum no rinse wash diluted to QD specifications.
