Default Quick Question about Menzerna polishes

My wife was good enough to stick a bottle of PO106 in my stocking at christmas that she ordered from Detailer's Domain (I recognized Phil's name on the mailing slip when it arrived on the doorstep...that is a sign I have bought too much stuff from that man, I think). The botles of 106ff I have seen say micropolish 106ff on them and mine says nanopolish 106. Is it the right stuff that many of you have raved about?

I was also wondering if I can get away with the PO85D instead of the 106ff. My car has been resprayed with Glasruit and is soft as an old peach. I would like to use whatever product has the least amount of cut, but will still get the job done, and I have heard nothing but great things about both of them.

Thanks for any guidance.

They both finish great. PO 85rd is a little finer. It is listed at 1.5 cut versus 2.5 for the 106ff.

Here's a chart I saved a few years ago.

Menzerna has some funny labels. The 106 you got is 106.

As for a return e-mail me as to what you would like to do.

I wish Menzerna would standardize and stick to it.

Phil, thank you for the input, what would you recommend for me in this situation? My car was resprayed with Glasruit 2 years ago and it is really soft. Should I go with the 85, or keep the 106? Thanks again.

keep the 106. 85RD is more for finishing on a dark car, it will not take out swirls, its too fine for that
