Alot of the products discussed on this forum are specialty items and are more easily found online.

the stuff works really well for the top, but be careful because the protectant can stain your paint. It stained mine and left lil streaks and white crap on my black paint that i have had trouble trying to get out using any chemicals, so im going to try and see if i can get it out using some rubbing compound now thats its dry hopefully. thats my only chance

cableguy- your top is vinyl... and you need both products.

osamabinmartin- sounds to me like you might have sprayed it on the top. my hints:
soak a rag away from the car (any top protectant or cleaner) with the product. work it into the top (or other vinyl surface). let it sit for awhile (i do the rest of the car)... then remove it with a clean cloth. i often do the removal twice.
let us know if you have any trouble getting it off of the paint- i would first use a quick detail spray. if you have to go to a polish, a paint cleaner or swirl remover should do the trick (the least aggressive polishes).
