Any reason why you use only meg's and 3m? There are a lot of great products out there, and our sponsor has a sale going on right now. A PC is a great polisher to use and learn on, without being dangerous to your paint.
The products you have are ok for your paint. I can't comment on 3m as I have not used their stuff.
Megs is good, but they have better stuff that they dont sell over the counter.

well, the 1st bottle of 3m glaze should be better than the 2nd one pictured. Glaze however is different from wax, and doesnt have as much longevity as wax. You can however top the glaze with a wax.
Color X is so so, but megs does make some polishes for sale OTC and you should try them. You could top the glaze with megs gold class wax, which is available OTC.
Are you lookibg for stuff just to get locally? If so, I hope the above info is ok.
Look for Sprayway glass cleaner, either at target or walmart. one of the best out there. Folex is good for carpets and can be had at lowes or home depot.
Any other product reccomendations needed, just ask.

these are better polishes.
Glaze is put on before wax.

ColorX is a nice cleaner wax. I'm sure it does a good job at keeping your white car looking white. I'm a great believer in the use of cleaner waxes for regular maintenance of daily drivers. See my article "Your Daily Driver."
Are you using the 3M glaze on top of ColorX or under it? If the latter, ColorX will remove the glaze. If the latter, you need to apply a pure wax on top of the glaze to seal in the extra gloss; otherwise, it will be washed away in the first wash.
Now that you are buying a Civic as your daily driver, consider switching from ColorX to NXT (two coats for uniform coverage). My guess is that you will like the gloss NXT brings to your white car, and it will be more durable than the ColorX. You should get several months from two coats of NXT, especially if the car is only being driven occasionally. If you like, you can glaze your car with the 3M glaze and then top it with NXT. Use the ColorX once or twice a year to clean the paint and top it with NXT. If you want a more carnauba look, try Meguiar's Hi-Tech Yellow Wax (M26)--better yet, try Lusso Oro, available from Detailer's Domain.
