anyone try rejex? is this a polymer like zaino? wax? polish?

 

from what I read, it's not quite at the level of Klasse or WG.

But at the level comparable to Zaino. Has a high recommended curing time.

I do not think it will be in my arsenal this year..

they are based out of texas..

but please try it if you can, post your reviews , (including pics of course) about it as I'd love to hear and see its' capabilities..

but remember, the board will be unavail this weekend..

I tried it on the 996TT a couple of weeks ago and am very pleased. As with anything the prep work (washing, claying etc.) is the most important. Goes on easily, let it haze, remove with MF cloth. Let sit in garage for 12 hours for the polymerization reaction to complete. Repeat if wanted. The finish is very smooth and shiney. I'm going to top coat with P21S as I have with Zaino in the past. Can't say anything about its longevity since I apply the top coat of carnuba quite often as it's so quick and easy.
I've used the other CorrosionX products and love them.
Rejex is VERY popular with the Porsche crowd on rennlist and 6speedonline.

I just used Rejex on my S2000 and am pleased with the ease of use, shine, and potential surface protedtion. I used Mothers' clay for surface prep.

Surface shine on the Formula Red is as stunning as Rejex on this Porsche.

I'm glad I purchased a gallon of the stuff, as my wife's SUV is next for treatment.

 

Rejex has a big following on the Porsche boards. If you buy from the rejexusa site try coupon code 968.net it may still be good. Eric who owns rejexusa is the owner of the car in the pic that was linked to and is a good guy in my dealings with him. The guys on 968.net gave the product a along with the guys 6speed online. Paint has to be in good shape beforehand as it has no fillers or cleaning capability.

I know a few people that have used it on their wheels for a while now and swearby it. I still use the Klasse twins and don't really see the need to add another polymer to my arsenal.

 

Any update on Rejex?

 

No updates from me yet, but I'm going to be using this stuff on the front bumper of the car next time it needs a waxing. Maybe I've been snookered by the marketing stuff, but I like the idea of it - especially as I autocross the car a lot and would like to protect the new front bumper as much as possible.

 

^Thanks for the input. I think I will try it sometime in near future. I like the idea of using this compound as it will last longer and provide better protection.
