one of the strengths of this board that i have always loved is the "family" aspect of it. we are family...
this thread proves it-

w&w has been a great place to live- it has attracted folks who had never even washed a car before, has even helped folks who dont even own our cars, it has helped launch detailing careers, and it has made wackos out of people who were much more normal when they first arrived.

i have always felt lucky to have been a part of this great community

As time goes by I check the s2ki forum less and less because of other events in life. W&W has always been my favorite hang out because of the people and moderators. I lurk as often as possible. When I first joined Wanabe helped me out with rookie stuff and this sub forum has been a great reference site. Wanabe gave me a badge before AL did, if I remember correctly. Hopefully you can check the site and step up to telling us rookies the correct way to do things when you see something wrong. I hope everything goes well, and enjoy the hog!

and am appreciating retirement as it is (working much harder now- as many of you know, i am a tax guy, so this is a tough time of year!!)

soon i will really get to "slow down"...
