I have used a product called " Barkeepers Friend". It is a stainless steel polish that was recommended on the BMW forums. Cost like 59 cents, takes the black exhaust off easily. can be bought in the supermarket. I would like to hear you guys opinions as well. Another great trick for detailing is to get wax off plastic trim, is peanut butter. I am not sure if it is the oil or the abrasiveness, but wax comes right off. Try it on your beater cars first ..another tick from our BMW brothers.

Deep Chrome by Deep Finish is one of the best chrome polishes I've used. It's really well regarded over on Autopia for good reason, but it's not widely available. I bought mine directly from Deep Finish.
