The other thing you want is to order new emblems from a place that will ship them in the foam holder that acts as a stencil for the spacing. Some places cut the S and the 2000 apart in case they get an order for them separately. It is easier to have the foam as one piece.
Oh, and you need to get 3M adhesive remover to get the old emblems off. It won't be easy.

Blow Dryer, Index finger, Patience and that adhesive will be gone in no time . You can also try Goo-Gone too.
anyone got the exact measurements. I want to install my emblems tomorrow since its a holiday.
I'm a bit late, but figure someone else might find this thread later. Yes, the service manual actually gives exact measurements on how to place them. Although, I think if I was doing it I'd rather create some type of jig that uses the fender edge by the door and the turn signal as alignment points.
Anyways, it looks like this application is two pieces, the first is a foam border with a hollow box where the logo would go. You measure to get the foam border stuck on temporarily, take off the adhesive on the S 2000 and place the S to the left and the 2000 to right of the template.
i am looking for a red s2000 does any one know where i can find one for my black car, i put on all red badges and painted calipers red so i though a red S2000 may look good, the fender badges were removed when i bought it
or 3D printer program ?
