Compliments of the previous owner

How can I remove these scratches? I can pickup a new oem shifter for 30 bux if I need to, but i was hoping to salvage this one.

Thank you

You can sand it down and stuff but it will have that rough finish to it, if you can get one for $30 I would just do that, shift knobs and steering wheels and plastics in the car are a wear and tear item usually.

or oder a Voodoo shift knob from Rick's. It make the throw shorter, so shifting is more fun.

I want to counter sink it. I think it doesn't sit flush with the angle of your arm when resting. It needs to be 1 inch shorter
