Sebring Silver and Zaino
Has anyone tried Zaino on their Sebring Silver s2k? I have seen it used on dark colors with good results but was wondering if it made a big difference on lighter colors. Also what is the highest number of z2 coats that anyone has put on in a week? Is there a such thing as too many coats?
There is no optimum number of coats. The finish will get deeper and wetter looking as additional coats are applied.
Saw an interesting comment on another forum recently. The writer said of wax based products, "It's like looking at your paint through a filter". Carnauba has a yellow tint to it, so it will always obscure the true color of your finish. Zaino is nearly 100% optically perfect, allowing you to enjoy the real color of your paint.

I just Zaino'd my Sebring S2000. I used 2 coats of Z5 enabled with ZFX and one coat of Z2. I still want to add another coat of Z2, but the car looks fantastic in its current state. I am very impressed with Zaino. It just got rained on today...the beading was amazing. It was far better than any traditional wax I've tried. The water just rolled off like marbles. And the cool part is that the car still looks sparkly-clean...even after driving in the rain!! I owe you guys for introducing me to Zaino. I thought it was all hype, but it really does deliver.

I was wondering the same thing. Since Sebring is this year's color, there shouldn't be many Sebrings out there that need swirl removal (besides them being harder to see on the light paint). When I ordered my Zaino before getting the car, I guessed that Z-5 wil be unnecessary, and so far I was right. 2 coats so far, I should be able to get maybe another 2 or 3 (with ZFX) this weekend.,,,,
