I find that either Peek or Simoniz product below does the trick. Wear gloves when you do it though because the amount of grime is untrue at times especially after winter.

usually a good car shampoo and zaino-
but also use thor (a stainless cleaner that i steal from my wife- she uses it on the kitchen appliances).
there are several products made for autos out there, a couple are listed above. i like luster lace and wenol too.

I used the Blue Magic metal polish on mine after washing the car. It's quick, and made them look awesome!

Here's what the can looks like....

I use the same stuff (but mines in a tube) it has a very small amount of grit to it that really makes the tips shine.

I use that blue magic as well. Works like a charm with very little effort. Recommended. I use the stuff out of a small bottle. So I guess there are a number of different containers this stuff comes in... just look around.

I use Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. I LOVE the results after using this. I just have the stock exhaust on my car and at a meet I actually had a fellow owner compliment me on how clean the exhaust tips were! He said it looked brand new. This stuff even helped to take off a little overspray that was on the underside of the exhaust tip. Should be available at kragen or autozone.
