Default Shockit Cleaner?

I was flipping channels and this stuff was on HSN. They claim it'll clean anything from carpet to rubber to the wheels on your car. All you do is add water.
I'm very skeptical into products like this, but for some reason it caught my attention.

This seems to be an easy solution to cleaning off brakedust and our vinyl tops(or so they claim). They even mention to rid of oxidation on whatever this stuff touches. Just wondering if anyone tried it or if it's even safe to use on our cars.

Interesting, but EXPENSIVE! $30 for 32 oz...
Who's gonna be the guinea pig?

APC FTW...

I would steer clear of it. Meguiar's APC is the safest bet. Can be diluted up to 10:1, so 1 gallon could make up to 10 gallons, for less money than the shock it stuff.

I use it for interiors mostly, but looking to try it on a few other aspects of detailing this year.
