I have a question to the Spoon SW388 rims owner
How do you clean your wheels/rims ?
Do you have any special care products for it ?
I have always cleaned them with water, but in the end the dirt stays deep inside.
I ask because the SW388 have different Black coating on it, like normal paint.

A wheel cleaner like sonax should work fine as long as it says it is safe for all finishes. Test a small amount before spraying the entire wheel.

 

I have the fake version - Rotas - but the trick is treating the rims after you get them clean.

I use spray nine or any safe general purpose cleaner, or dawn dish soap and water mix in a spray bottle. Once clean treat them with a hydrophobic product like Mothers CMX or a sealant like Menzerna Powerlock, the dirt won't stick as much in the future and you will go further between cleanings. Wax won't last as long and may not protect as much from brake dust.
