Default Starting to think detailing

So, the weather hopefully will be getting nice within the next month or so. My plan is to do some deailing before I bring the car out. I already washed and did the interior before I covered it for the winter, so the car looks pretty good. But it has a ways to go. So here is what I was planning on doing once we have 50+ temps. I am just curious if the experts have any suggestions. I have quite a bit of stuff, some good and some not, I would like to use up what I have where I can. Where I specify what I will be using is where I already have the product.

-fix paint chips with honda touch up paint (I have a couple of small chips on the front facia, that I will fix)

-clay bar the touch up area, and then the remainder of the car with clay magic

-re-wash the car with meguires gold wash

-apply a sealant (I am between wolfgang and Klasse, I am leaning towards Klasse because of the price and how long it lasts)

-wax the car (I have zymol cleaner wax and Meguires gold paste, I am leaning more towards using the paste because it is an acual wax vs. a cleaner wax).

Any suggestions, specifically in regards to what sealant to use??

megs gold class is a great OTC wax. i like it alot, especially for the price. as far as sealant goes, id recommend menzerna FMJ. its actually the only one ive used, but i like it alot. very easy to put on/take off, and lasts for a good while.

be sure to take pictures before and after, and post them up for you wacko badge!

Sealants, there's a lot.
Best bang for your buck are these two:

^^ you can use this one alone without putting wax over it. Apply two THIN coats. You only need to wait 30 minutes in between coats. Also very easy to use. I use this stuff a lot.

^^^ This stuff has great durability, and a very easy to use product as well.
I have used it on wheels only, so far, and has made it easier to keep them clean. Will be trying it on an s2k I'm detailing in April.

I noticed that the Jett's says it won't stain trim. Is that something I need to worry about with other sealants?? Because I tend to get a bit messy sometimes

Kalsse SG's time has come and gone if you ask me. There are a bunch of better sealants on the market now.

I still love how KlasseSG looks on white cars though. And I still have a bottle of it so I tend to use it on my rims because it *is* very durable.

I wouldnt. It looks nice, but it's a big pain to use.

FMJ is my sealant of choice right now.

I have many but my personal fav right now is Wolfgang. Easy to use and has a great look. Very slippery also.

If you aren't the type that will apply something every 4-8 weeks than Zaino may work for you.
