steering wheel leather

Question steering wheel leather

Just got my car last week and was gettin in it and scratched the leather a little bit on the steering wheel...its not dug in but just little flakes sticking up in small spot Nd bothers me lol...is there anything I can do about this let me know!

there is a solution to this that i seen in detailing forum but i dont know which product guy used.
ill try to find out from him couse i want to try to fix my space accord stearing wheel

I touched mine up with black shoe polish, might work if yours isn't too badly damaged.

You can just replace the cover when it gets worn out or damaged and the original leather on your wheel will never get worn out from sweaty palms.

NO people, when your steering wheel gest really bad from sun or fading/cut marks you need to buy some SEM leather dye and sand it down and respray it. The stuff works so well and holds through years of abuse the leather will look good as new.

i know of sem leather dye but can you give the exact code for the dye because i think the leather is different on certain year steering wheels

Any DIY's exist for 'sanding down the leather on the OEM wheel? Got any pics of the final result?

Mr Clean Magic Eraser will make it look like new. Same with the leather seats and console. Just be sure to treat the leather after stripping it.
