Just a quick question, the stock exhaust mufflers (not the tip), should they be silver or black?? mine are pretty much all matt black at the front however it could be a build up of crap etc; however i wanted to make sure before i scrub off a patch and make it look retarded incase they are supposed to be black

its an AP1 btw.......2000 model.

 

Mine are like a dark steel color...definitely not black.

 

steel black... same diff.. mine are black matte color. er.. WERE... before the local scrap pickers stole 'em

 

They are Stainless steeel,covered with matte black paint.
You can strip the paint,and polish the stainless to a mirror finish,wit a little elbow grease !!!
