It's subjective. Just go with what you want to try first. Wax only looks as good as the person who's looking at it decides. To me, one wax could give more "glow" than the other.. but to you, maybe it doesn't.

same reason some jeans cost $150 while others are $50. are the $150 jeans 3x better? no. So why the higher cost? b/c they can quite simply.

the high end waxes are good- but they also create the illusion of rarity in many ways. You think it's better b/c it costs more. You can get good waxes for as low as $20.

its all a matter of opinion, and also beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I had SV, but ended trading it away. Was it a nice wax? Yes.

would I ever get it again? Not sure.

I have a few different waxes I like, some more than others.

My personal favorite on black would be Glasur. But thats just in my eyes.

Durability wise, Collinite 845 rules, and is only about 20 bux.

I tried the Swissvax "Onyx "I believe. Good wax probably but very difficult to justify the $90 I spent. Go to Autozone and get something more reasonable. I think my best shine came from using the Polycharger kit along with Mothers Showtime but anything compatable with the Polycharger would probably work just as well. If you decide on the Polycharger, it comes with a list of compatable liquid waxes.

i tried the swissvax glacier and its noticably better than the lusso ore i had. The lusso is very good but it seems that the glacier held up longer and still had beading in a much longer time frame.

i dont know if i can justify 3x the price but if i had the spare money id get it in an instant

I have a tub of "Best of Show" (I bought it 3/4 full at a decent price) and have used it once. My berlina black car looked great, but I experienced some sweating afterwards. Perhaps I applied it too thick.

I honestly cannot say that the car looked better than it did with either Souveran or Fuzion. At this point Souveran remains my favorite. It's extremely easy to use, and I did not experience any sweating or streaking. I'm sure that the Swissvax is more durable, but durability really doesn't matter too much to me during the non-winter months. I do not mind that Souveran only lasts a month or so; but I wouldn't pay for retail for it. Only buy it when it goes on BOGO and then sell the second tub. At this point I doubt I would buy Swissvax again--certainly not at full retail.

I would like to add Victoria Concours Red to my collection during the next year, though it's hard to financially justify the addition of a new wax. So many waxes to try! Yet deep down I suspect that there really isn't that much difference between good waxes.
