Default Switch to Zaino

I have been using meguiars products to polish my car and wax with meguirs yellow wax... I am very satisfied with the results but after seeing some cars online done with zaino I feel like I want to switch..
My questions is, is there really a big difference.. I have a yellow s2k so I am not sure if it would make a big diff.. I am about to tackle another black car and well I want to know if the zaino is going to make a bigger shine...

next question with the steps with zaino..
Compound and polish with meguiars.. (since i still have a ton left)
polish with meguiars machine glaze
polish with meguiars show car glaze
then use zaino z-2 then z-5 the z-6
or would u modify that procedure.. such as remove one of the meguiars steps...

Another question.. is zaino the last step or would I use wax after it..

Another question, if I want to redo my car with zaino I am guessing I will have to remove my wax? or can I just leave it on top and just apply zaino over it... whats the easiest way to remove wax if i have to...

Thanks

on yellow its not a really big diff... some depth and maybe a bit more shine, but not like black cars.

as to which polishes you need, depends on the paint. you gotta inspect to determine which way to go. not sure why you would want two glazes though.

wax is the last step, after the zaino- at least a coupla coats of zaino then carnauba after the zaino cures. the carnuaba is optional, btw. i always top synthetics with wax, but some folks think i takes away from the synthetic.

clay or polish will remove your old wax- there are other choices, but as long as you are polishing you should be able to go to the zaino after.

Well I have seen you post pictures of your car and it seems to be in awesome shape as it is. I would skip the compound and use a medium to light polish instead. Many of the steps you posted are definitely clear coat levelers (compound, polishing with meguires, meguires polish machine glaze, machine show car glaze, z2, z5, z6) That is DEFINITELY wayyy too much polishing on a well kept car. The compound alone with a 2 stage poilish job is more than enough. and depending on the glaze I would probably skip that too since they offer little to no protection with a VERY short lifepan (mabey a few hours? theyre only meant to be used for car shows etc.). If your gonna go with Zaino I suggest you go this route (depending on your budget)

Z2
Z5
ZCS

If your gonna want to use your old meguires stuff
then just stick a medium to light polish (assuming you prep correctly before) go with a quality sealant and top with a wax. Try to refrain from too much polishing . Also try looking around for other products and try mixing and matching! hope that helps

If you polish correctly you don't need Z5.

btw, just have to add that this is why i always ask folks who pm me for advice to post up the questions here. so others can learn, and just as important cause detailing is about opinions- and even when one of us answers something there is always something that can be added!!!
