Default Taking the S through an automatic car wash

Ok so due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to drive my S in the salt put down from the latest snowstorm!

I am debating taking it to an automatic car wash to get the undercarriage blasted to get rid of the salt.

Do you believe that it could do more harm than good? I will be putting a good wax on it after it's done as I'm
also concerned about the harshness of the soaps they use.

Thoughts?

Running it through a touchless one shouldn't be an issue.

Touchless is the key, Stay away from those with brushes of carpet dangling from the ceiling. Carry a towel as soap and water will try to get in around the top and backs of your windows. Just hold the towel in that area when the robot comes around. Towel will be barely wet.

These are cars not puppies.
