I did the Zaino thing back in April and haven't done it since. The point is, it still looks great. I wash every 3 or 4 weeks with Zaino wash and occasionally use Z6 to clean up hand prints, bugs, bird droppings and other stuff. It seems some of you may make work for yourselfs using too much Z1 and then reapplying Z2/5 several times. I don't understand why so many of you are applying so often. Am I missing something other than you love your Ss and just have to put hands on?
I go crazy with my Zaino. If I just wash my car and apply Z6 at the end, it still looks great, however I've found out that with more coats of Z5 and Z2, the shine is that much better. Of course I always end with the gloss enhancer spray as well.
also, people with more dramatic coloured cars - black, red, deep greens, blues, yellows etc . . notice the effect of layering more.
sure, the durability is greatly extended by regular washing with zaino wash, and regular use of the spray as well.
layering does enhance the protection level as well,
I know a guy in Florida who applied 2 coats of Z2 a week - bare minimum - to his Navy Metallic Blue Trans Am - i think the last hundred or so where simply because he enjoyed doing it, and the neighbours expected to see him out there . . .
after a while - the law of diminishing returns kicks in . . .
but is is a form of therapy for some (me included)
