Default Torn Between Two Portercable Kits

I have been putting off buying a Porterccable 7424xp kit from detailers domain long enough. Its winter and Im getting cabin fever, and just got my tax return so I have decided to purchase a complete kit with the uber pads. Not sure which kit will better suit my needs. I have spider webbing, swirls, no real hazing, but some fine scratches on my spa yellow s2k. I am also a novice in the detailing world but deem myself competent to use a DA, and reading reviews the Porter Cable is virtually idiot proof. Which package would anyone recommend? Im leaning towards the Prima Car kit, however have not heard of their products before, I have really only use meguiars in the past. I want to keep it under the $270 mark.

When you figure out which kit you're getting, please let us know which one and why you think it's the best choice for you. I'm in a similar situation.

Still on the fence, but 75% positive im going with the Prima Care kit, should work for what I need it to do. Im going to shoot them an email at detailers domain and go from there.

I haven't used any of the prima care products but I had originally purchased the Menernza kit and I had loved the quality of the finish. Recently I had purchased the Megiuar's polishes but they blew me away. They dust a lot less then the Menernza and finish up nicely with very little work.

I would opt for the Menzerna kit myself. I have used both Menzerna and Prima compounds. Although I really have nothing bad to say about the Prima compounds ('cut' smells like cherry sweet tarts and some of there other stuff is STELLAR) I like using and working with the Menzerna compounds. The Menzerna compounds break down over use and help refine the finish further and further and are much easier to work with then the Prima stuff.

I would however recommend if you are looking for the pop in your finish. Prima Amigo topped with a high quality sealant Menzerna Power lock or BlackFire Wet Diamond...
