Default Touch up Paint

Hey folks. I have a couple of nasty paint chips on my S2K. damn dump trucks on 270 lastweek I bet. Anyway, do you all recommend having the dealer (if they will) or a body shop or do it yourself when it comes to touching up these areas?
I t is driving me nuts. I have to fix them. Most people would say they are tiny spots. They look enormous to me. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
SUZUKA Ray

I went there, but it seems to just be a general search engine. I couldn't find any articles. Are you sure that you spelled the address correctly or am I just missing something obvious?

BTW, I have used one of the touch up pens, it works well on red, but I have not heard good reports on the metalic colors.

i like the pen too... but it works better on scratches than chips- depends on the size of the chip. you made yours sound like craters!!! (pen does not work on craters, but maybe small chips)

If you want an autosharppen, lemme know; I have some left over from a group buy - $10 shipped, which beats the heck out of the usurious $17 + shipping they charge...

Here's a good article that I read about fixing paint chips:

I'm going to try it out on a dime sized chip in my Altima's hood.
